Biography

Dr L Naranjo studied the Bachelor of Actuary and the Master of Mathematical Sciences at the UNAM, and the Doctorate in Mathematics at the University of Extremadura, Spain.

His area of 芒聙聥芒聙聥research has been Bayesian analysis of categorical response data, particularly on flexible link functions and response variables subject to misclassification. He also investigates the classification and follow-up of Parkinson's patients using acoustic signals using hierarchical linear models and generalized linear models with repeated measures.

A system that is capable of automatically discriminating healthy people from people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) from speech recordings is proposed.
