Abstract

Invasive species, non-native organisms introduced to new environments, are wreaking havoc on ecosystems, threatening biodiversity, and causing economic damage worldwide. From voracious predators and prolific breeders to fast-spreading plants and pathogens, invasive species pose one of the greatest challenges to global conservation efforts. In this article, we explore the origins, impacts, and management of invasive species, shedding light on the urgent need to address this growing threat.
