personal protective equipment (PPE), sterilization of medical instruments, and isolation procedures. By understanding
the dynamics of pathogen transmission and implementing evidence-based infection control measures, healthcare
facilities can reduce the incidence of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). The role of infection control extends beyond
clinical settings, impacting public health by preventing the broader spread of diseases within communities.
