This article provides an overview of how bioinformatics approaches are transforming the landscape of drug discovery, covering key aspects such as target identification, drug design, pharmacogenomics, and drug repurposing. By leveraging computational tools, big data analytics, and integrative omics approaches, bioinformatics enables researchers to navigate the complexities of biological systems and accelerate the translation of biomedical research into clinical applications.
