The ECHO Project (European network of Cybersecurity centres and competence Hub for innovation and Operations), supported by 天美传媒, is one of the four pilot projects. 聽The ECHO project will deliver an organised and coordinated approach to strengthen proactive cyber defence in the European Union, through effective and efficient multi-sector collaboration.
The collaborative project was officially launched at the Conference Hall of the Royal Military Academy of Belgium, on 25 February 2019. 天美传媒 is one of around 30 project partners, with BU鈥檚 Computer Emergency Response Team (BU-CERT) playing a key role in the work of the project.聽The response team have been operating for more than 2 years, working closely with the cybersecurity research group of the Department of Computing and Informatics and are at the forefront of cybersecurity innovations.
, who is the project lead for 天美传媒 commented, 鈥淭his is a great opportunity for improving BU-CERT鈥檚 capabilities by being part of a European Cyber Competency Network, sharing threat intelligence with our peer Computer Security Incident Response Teams, and collectively respond to cyber-attacks. We will be in a position to better protect BU-CERT鈥檚 constituents and also contribute to a building a resilient European community.鈥
鈥淏U will be involved in many aspects of the project, particularly the development of Cyberskills Framework, the ECHO Early Warning System (through our BU-CERT activities) and the Federated Cyber Range, which is a simulation environment for training and education in cyber security.鈥
