Cleft Surgery

Cleft surgery is nothing but Cleft lip and palate surgery. It is also known as Orofacial cleft. It includes treatment for defects in lip as well as palate. It is a birth disease and many of its cases were unknown of reason. Few factors that are considered to be risky are smoking during pregnancy, diabetes, an older mother, obesity, and certain medications such as some used to treat seizures.
